Key Style #1
Excelsior T-46K
These keys fit many locks made by Long, American, Everlasting, and others, many of which will have the letters code T-46K stamped on the lock.
Also fits codes T-45, T-44, and T-47, with or without the hyphen in the middle.
These keys are flat and about as thin as a dime.  The slot on your trunk lock must be perfectly flat - no squiggles and no post in the center - just a plain, flat slot.
Chances are pretty good that if your lock has a plain narrow slot like the one shown above these keys will fit.

Key Blanks
These are hollow-shank keys that have a flat piece of metal that needs to be cut/filed to fit the lock on your trunk.
How do you do this?  We have no earthly idea; you're on your own.
Some folks have told us they stick some chewing gum or plumber's putty on one side of the key, insert it in the lock, turn gently,
then back it out and cut the areas away that didn't have an impression in the gum.
Others say you can just stick the key in, twist it hard, and file away at the places that look scratched.
We wish you luck.  These blanks may be helpful if your local locksmith can't find old-style blanks from their regular suppliers.
We have two styles available; both have holes in the shaft that are about 1/8" in diameter, which fits over most key shafts in most old trunk locks.

2 and 3/8" long overall; shaft length is 1 and 3/8".  Metal plate is 3/16 wide (parallel to the shaft) by 1/4" long.

Key Styles 15 and 16
(Note:  Key 4 is shown here just so you can compare the sizes - you can purchase Key 4 by scrolling back up this page)
Key styles 15 and 16 are very small barrel keys that fit things like jewelry box locks.
Each of these keys is 1 and 1/16" long and has a hollow barrel that's about 1/16 of an inch, inside diameter.
Key 15 has a larger 'flag' piece at the end than Key 16.
On Key 15 the flag is about 1/8" long and it extends out from the shaft by about 3/32"
On Key 16 the flag is about 3/32" square.
Keys 15 and 16 are $5 each, and this includes shipping to any USA address.

Key Style 17
Key style 17 is a double bit key that was used on clocks, jewelry boxes, bureau drawers, and some chest locks.
Each of these keys is 2 and 1/2" long overall and has a solid shaft that's about 1/8 of an inch, outside diameter.
Key 17 has 2 'flags' at the end, so that when you turn it the key can work two mechanisms at once.
Key slot should have a round hole in the middle, with an overall straight width of not less than 7/16 of an inch.

Key Style 18
Key style 18 is a nickel plated steel key (silver in color) that's really just for decorative use - it's not intended to work an actual lock.
It looks nice just hanging on a chain around your neck, feels good jangling around in your pocket.
This key is heavy - weighs 0.7 of an ounce, and is 2-7/8" long overall.  Shiny metallic silver finish.

Small Keys for Necklaces

Lightweight brass keys have a ring at top so that you can string them on a necklace or just dangle them in the air.
Style A is a little over 1-3/4" long.  Style B is about 1-3/8" long.  Style C is about 1-5/8" long.
Style D is about 1-1/2" long.  Style E is about 3" long.  Style F is about 1" long and looks like a ring of old skeleton keys.
Second photo shows the backs of these keys.  Take a close look - these keys are hollow on the back -
they're not real keys - they're just for decoration or jewelry use.
